About Perk & Panini

Located at 143 Mohawk Ave, Scotia, NY 12302, Perk & Panini operates as a cafe serving Scotia in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 AM–3 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (518) 808-4018. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, perkpanini.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 46 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Scotia and suggests consistent service.

Scotia is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Scotia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I got a sour apple lemonade that was happiness in a cup. It tasted exactly like a caramel apple with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. I will definitely be ordering this again!

Very cute place. Lots of delish sounding options. Finally decided to drop by for the first time for one of their specials and a coffee. Coffee was yummy, and I liked that the cold foam was made to order. Plus the cold foam lasted til the end of the coffee, which I certainly can’t say the same for when I go to Dunkin. I had ordered my sandwich as a warm panini. Order was made in a timely fashion. When I got home and opened up my sandwich, I realized they had given me a cold subversion instead. For a second I thought about just eating it but then I decided I really wanted melted cheese. I immediately called them and explained the situation and they were quick to rectify It and told me to come back for the correct product (which I offered to do btw). Upon arrival, they apologized, offered me a free beverage of choice from their cooler, and later I saw they also included a dessert/pastry on the house. When I received my correct order, they thanked me for giving them the opportunity to fix the situation. I myself have worked in the hospitality industry for the last 14 years so I understand mistakes happen so I was not worried about it one bit. I include this not to talk crap about them

Located in the old original Storied Coffee property. Interesting and delightful looking food menu. Coffee menu features a smaller than usual espresso drink menu. Today's menu had 2 specialty lattes and there was also a daily special on the board. We ordered 1 iced chocolate covered cherry which was the daily special and 1 neopolitan iced latte which is one of their specialty lattes. We ended up having to get 2 chocolate covered cherry lattes because they didnt have vanilla for the neopolitan. If you only have 2 specialty lattes, you should never run out of ingredients especially since it's a common ingredient. To top it off, they ran out of the cold foam and tried to make cold foam with whole milk and the other with oat milk. Both can be done but they need to be frothed for longer than a couple seconds. When it doesn't work, you end up with regular airy frothed milk which made both lattes taste awful. Unfortunately, I felt like they didn't care if they served a good product. They didn't say anything about the cold foam or let us know they were out. With so many excellent coffee shops in the area you have to separate yourself to keep customers coming back. Unfortunately, they did th

Went to Perk and Panini for the first time today. Not only were their specials adorable (I love me some Seuss-themed food!), the chocolate-covered cherry latte was well made and the owners and staff were friendly and welcoming. The girl working the counter even saw me working on my computer and made a point to share the WiFi password. I am delighted that Perk and Panini is open and can’t wait to visit again!
